Philodendron Pink Princess Plant Care

Family: AraceaeBotanical name: Philodendron erubescens

The Philodendron Pink Princess plant was my first rare plant to enter my wishlist and so I spend months searching for a seller. After finding one you can imagine the last thing I wanted was to kill the plant.

So here are few tips on plant care that have kept this princess alive (so far): water with care, don't forget this is a tropical plant and it's used to high humidity and temperatures and needs good amount of light to keep those pink leaves well... pink.

Another thing to keep in mind is that all over pink leaves won't survive long (they'll die within days) as the plant can't sustain that much variegation. Same happens with white variegated plants.

Light

The Pink Princess Philodendron prefers medium to bright indirect light (a bright east or west window indoors would be perfect).

Watering

Give the plant a good drenching and allow the soil to become dry to the touch before watering again.

Feeding

Feed monthly with a balanced liquid plant food.
